“I am proud to have the endorsement of the NRA Political Victory Fund,” said Obhof.  “I have staunchly defended the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding gun owners, hunters and sportsmen in Ohio, and I will remain a strong voice of in support of the Right to Bear Arms.”

Senator Obhof has co-sponsored several bills expanding concealed carry locations and improving Ohio’s reciprocity with other states for concealed carry license holders.  Last year, following the terrorist attack at a military recruiting center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Senator Obhof worked with the Governor’s office to ensure that Ohio’s military men and women are allowed to carry at Ohio’s National Guard facilities, including recruiting centers.

As a member of the Ohio Senate, Larry Obhof has also focused on improving Ohio’s economy and lowering taxes, including eliminating the Death Tax and supporting across-the-board income tax cuts for all Ohio taxpayers.  Senator Obhof has received numerous honors or awards in recognition of his legislative efforts, including being named “Watchdog of the Treasury” by the United Conservatives of Ohio and “Friend of Agriculture” by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.  On two occasions, Obhof was named “Defender of Liberty” by the American Conservative Union for earning a perfect score in the organization’s state legislative rankings.
